Regional Director - Texas
Shelter Corporation, Jennifer is responsible for overseeing the operations of her portfolio and ensuring that the properties are running efficiently while maintaining occupancy and resident satisfaction. Jennifer joined Shelter Corporation in 2001 and quickly became a Property Manager. In this role, Jennifer was responsible for the day-to-day management of her property as well as the staff and residents. After being on-site for over 10 years, Jennifer transitioned into the role of Resident Services and Marketing Manager for the Texas Region. As the marketing manager, Jennifer was responsible for ensuring the marketing content for the portfolio was accurate and customer friendly. Jennifer also implemented a monthly resident services plan to promote resident involvement at property events.
In 2006, Jennifer was the recipient of the Shelter Corporation Leadership Award. She also completed both the Certified Apartment Manager and the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor designations from the National Apartment Association in 2007 and 2011. In 2014, Jennifer became a graduate of the San Antonio Apartment Association’s Leadership Lyceum. While already receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University – San Antonio, she continued to challenge herself and recently received her MBA in Business Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
