The Metropolitan Housing Opportunity Program (MHOP) consists of 50 scattered units throughout Washington County, MN. These units are owned by The Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (WCHRA) and managed by Shelter Corporation. The MHOP units are part of the Public Housing Program that is funded through the Housing and Urban Development, also known as HUD.

 

The 50 units consist of single family homes, townhomes and duplexes or apartments. The units range in size from two to four bedrooms. Each home or unit has electricity, water, heat, and trash.

 

MHOP residents are selected from a housing waiting list for Washington County, MN. Please give us a call if you’d like more information on this process and the homes.
